be considered. This opportunity is for an experienced Registered
Nurse specializing in Operating Room care to support a high-acuity
surgical unit in Charlotte, NC. The assignment is a contract
position within a facility known for its advanced surgical services
and commitment to excellence in patient care. Location

Responsibilities: - Provide perioperative nursing care in a
fast-paced OR environment with an average of 50 cases per day,
across specialties including trauma, orthopedic trauma, total
joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecology, gynecologic oncology,
robotics, general surgery, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology,
pain management, and plastics. - Serve as a charge nurse on night
shifts, demonstrating leadership and scrub proficiency. - Assist
with laparoscopic and open abdominal procedures; experience with
orthopedic trauma, cystoscopy, vascular surgery, and robotics is
advantageous. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary
teams, including clinical supervisors, charge nurses, educators,
and support staff. - Respond promptly to call shifts, maintaining
readiness for emergent surgical cases. - Participate in
orientation, ongoing education, and support departmental workflow
and culture. Qualifications: - Current NC Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience; first-time travelers
will not be considered. - BLS certification required; CNOR
certification preferred. - Demonstrated ability to circulate in
complex surgical cases. - Prior charge nurse experience,
particularly for night shifts. - Flexibility, motivation, and
strong teamwork skills essential. Schedule: - Shift hours vary:
7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p. - Weekend rotation every 4th weekend, with
an average of 6 call shifts every 6 weeks. - Holiday work
expectation approximately 75%. - 45-minute response time required
for call shifts. Additional Details: - Free parking available. -
