Job Description:
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and
financial services sector, is seeking a Capacity Planning Engineer
to join their team. As a Capacity Planning Engineer, you will be
part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting the
Capacity Management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a
proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Capacity Planning
Engineer Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Pay Range: $75 What's
the Job? Participate in multiple projects focused on performance
and capacity management of IT systems Review technical project
documentation to identify potential impacts on infrastructure
performance and capacity Collaborate with support teams to develop
forecasts and models for system performance and capacity Analyze
saturation test results and artifacts to interpret capacity
thresholds and limits Support capacity-related business-as-usual
activities to meet audit requirements What's Needed? Minimum of 3-5
years of experience in IT Capacity Management or related fields
Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies and ITIL best
practices Experience with data analytics, mathematical/statistical
analysis, and capacity forecasting Understanding of hardware
infrastructure, architecture, and disaster recovery processes
Preferred experience with tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics,
DynaTrace, SAR, and Agile frameworks like Jira/Confluence What's in
