About this role: The Wells Fargo Home Lending Originations Technology is modernizing the technology and business process to provide best in class experience for the customers and team members. As a Senior Software Engineer in this role you will help building the cloud native modern Micro Frontend based UI applications following Wells Fargo branding standards. You will be able to influence technology and business stakeholders with innovative design and development by developing cutting edge reusable components and framework which can be used across the Home Lending. In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Develop Micro Frontend UI applications using Angular framework by following Wells Fargo branding standards.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Create reusable components and framework that can be used by other teams for developing UIs.
• Mentor junior and new engineers in the team.
• Partner with other teams to provide guidance for their UI development.
• Escalation point for addressing UI related issues from other teams as well as production support.
• Understand and assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met
• Participate in daily scrum activities Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Angular version 8 or above
  • 4+ years of Typescript
  • 4+ years of UI Unit testing framework (Ex. Karma/Jasmine). Desired Qualifications:
    • Java experience
    • Micro Frontend Architecture
    • Cloud certification
    • Cloud native development, experience with PCF/TAS, Azure or other cloud providers.
    • CSS Flex framework
    • Automation test following Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-driven development (BDD) development practices
    • Angular Material or other third-party framework components
    • JavaScript async/await promise experience
    • Wireframing and Prototyping Skills ( Figma)
    • CSS (SCSS/Sass experience a bonus)
    • D3 experience a bonus
    • ESLint
    • UI Caching patterns
    • NoSQL DB - Mongo DB or related
    • Kafka or other event streaming technology
