Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience required License: Active
license in the applicable state required Certifications: BLS, PALS

Neurology experience preferred - Experience with IV placement and
lab draws Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any
call-offs or additional RTO could result in a cancellation. The
unit manages a variety of neurological post-operative cases. Target
ratios are 1:2 based on acuity, sometimes 1:3. The unit consists of
8 rooms for patient care. Travelers will be scheduled for 36 hours
over a 12-hour night shift. Weekends will be required every other
weekend. Patients range in age from 0 to 17 years. Diagnoses
include respiratory, neurosurgery, and heme/oncology. Travelers may
float to other units as needed based on skills and census. The unit
does not have an intermediate care unit, so care may be adjusted
accordingly. Pediatric-friendly uniforms are expected. Travelers
must abide by specific fatigue policies regarding work hours.
Testing requirements must be completed within specified timelines.
Travel pairs are allowed, but assignments must be on different
units. References from previous employers will be required before
