What We Offer: Position: Surgical Technologist – Specialty Eye
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts (one weekday off) 6:30
AM-5:00 PM Location: Charlotte Outpatient Surgery Center About the
Role: We’re seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with a
strong background in specialty eye procedures , including retina
vitrectomy . This role supports a high-performing surgical team
dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and patient-centered
care. Details: 10-hour shifts with one scheduled weekday off No
weekends One late day per week (may extend to 5:30–6:00 PM) Holiday
call: 24-hour call rotation at PMC Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 If

expected to work in an operating suite for the center. The ASC
Surgical Technologist is able to function as a team member in an
ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas,
assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC

Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or
Military Training Equivalent (68D – Operating Room Specialist). For
incumbents who are not graduates of an accredited School of
Surgical Technology or have certification please see additional
skills required. Online Surgical Tech program credits will not be
accepted. Experience: Previous Surgical Technologist experience,
preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current Surgical Tech
certification, preferred. Additional Skills (required): For
incumbents who are not graduates of an accredited School of
Surgical Technology or have certification the following additional
requirements apply: new graduates must obtain certification within
12months of hire. Ability to successfully complete generic and
department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
Demonstrate effective and appropriate customer service skills,
verbal and nonverbal communication techniques, interpersonal
relationship skills, and time management skills. Additional Skills
(preferred): One to two years of experience in sterile processing
or equivalent training if assigned solely to sterile processing.
