Senior Director Global Crisis Management
Honeywell is a high-performing, global business with an array of

The Senior Director Global Crisis Management will join as a key
member of Honeywell's Global Resiliency leadership team to build,
implement and lead Honeywell's global Crisis Management, Governance
& Analytics and Training and Awareness programs to help the company
adequately prepare, mitigate and respond to business disrupting
events in all areas of the world where they operate. The successful
candidate will need to build strong relationships across the
company and work with senior leaders within the businesses, regions
and corporate offices to drive the effective implementation of the
program in a risk based and practical way. They will also need to
drive development of the Governance and Analytics program to
provide information and assurance to key stakeholders and deliver
the implementation required across the Global Resilience program
including business continuity, crisis management and disaster
recovery.
The role includes responsibility for the training and awareness
program across the Resilience pillars both for key stakeholders and
the global employees to drive a resilient culture in Honeywell.
This role will report directly to the Vice President Global
Business Resilience and be a partner in driving the wider
resiliency program objectives. The successful candidate should be
an expert in the resiliency field with a proven track record for
implementing best practice and risk-based Resiliency frameworks
within large, complex and dynamic organizations with a global
presence.
Overview of Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and driving the implementation of
Honeywell's risk based Global Crisis Management Program in
alignment with globally recognized industry standards
Responsible for driving the implementation of Honeywell's
Governance and Analytics and Training and awareness program to
provide assurance in the program and a resilient culture in how the
company operates.
Engage with Honeywell's SBGs, functions and business senior
leadership teams to understand the risk and impact and co-ordinate
the delivery of robust Crisis Management and recovery plans
Manage both direct and indirect members of the team to drive the
delivery of the function and deliver on the required outcomes
across this roles responsibilities
Partner with the VP of Global Business Resilience to provide global
leadership and oversight for the Crisis Management, Governance &
Analytics Program implementation, management and continuous
improvement globally where Honeywell has operations
Plan, manage and execute a roster of regional and global Crisis
Management exercises that robustly test the integrity and
effectiveness of the mitigation plans in place
Establish sound governance processes, policies, procedures and
industry standard best practices to ensure the Global Resilience
program components are aligned, current, relevant and auditable
Work with the leaders of Honeywell's partner programs - HSE, Legal,
HR, Cyber Security, Product Security and Physical Security,
escalation methodology to integrate within the Crisis Management
program's methodology and activation criteria
Collaborate with colleagues in other key resiliency functions,
Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Cyber Security and Physical
Security to provide a robust comprehensive resiliency program for
Honeywell
Establish and maintain a Crisis Management maturity model, aligned
with the partner program maturity models, that assesses the
successful adoption, effectiveness and continuous improvements of
the Crisis Management Program across Honeywell
Drive and develop a robust Training and Awareness program across
the company and develop innovative ways to drive a resilient
culture within the company
Develop and maintain a training and awareness program for the
Crisis Management Program that drives continuous improvement and
develops an increased level of awareness amongst the employees.
Establish and maintain a Resilience metrics and analytics program,
aligned with key resiliency partners, that drives metrics to
include, operational performance, delivery against targets and
companywide resiliency
Work with the businesses to establish the Crisis Management program
as a competitive advantage and an added value proposition to our
customers
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent industry
experience
Professional certification DRII, BCI) in business continuity,
disaster recovery and crisis management
10 + years of experience of implementing and managing a global
resiliency programs (BCP and Crisis Management) for large, complex
global companies
Experience of being successful in delivering programs in a matrix
management environment
Excellent project management and data analytics skills and
experience with using data to drive decisions and develop maturity
in a resiliency program
Experience of developing and implementing scenario based exercises
for C-Suite leaders within the company

ambiguous nature of the crisis management environment for a global
digital industrial company operating on multiple time zones
Experience of facilitating, with the business leaders, the Crisis
response to large scale impacting events to the company
Be available, as required, to drive the response to crisis level
events at the Enterprise level and partner with Regional and SBG
Resilience leads as they respond to events whenever they may
occur
The ability to drive complex, cross functional initiatives at a
global level with multiple stakeholders
The ability to communicate complex issues and resiliency
initiatives in a business focused and digestible manner
Results driven with a high level of accountability and ownership
with a rigorous attention to detail in all work activities and
products
Experience of facilitating, with the business leaders, the Crisis
response to large scale impacting events to the company
Ability to operate in a fast paced and challenging multi-matrix
environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including crisis
management, negotiation and persuasion skills
Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively, take initiative
with strong organizational and management skills
Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment, often on short deadlines
