Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special
Education Teacher to support exceptional children in a middle
school setting within a K-12 school located in Gastonia, NC. This
full-time contract position spans the current school year and
focuses on delivering tailored educational services to students
with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for exceptional
children. Collaborate with general education teachers, families,
and support staff to ensure inclusive and effective learning
environments. Assess student progress and adjust instructional
strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation
in compliance with district and state standards. Participate in
professional development and team meetings to align practices with
best educational standards. Qualifications: Active Exceptional
Children Teaching Certification. Proven experience working as a
Special Education Teacher, especially with middle school students.
Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and
instructional techniques. Ability to create engaging,
student-centered lesson plans. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students,
