Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Commissioning Agent III positions with the leading global, full-service MEP, information and communication technology (ICT) and commissioning engineer for the government and commercial sectors.

Position Details
Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $75K - $85K; Straight overtime over 40 hours
Shift: Day shift. Normal work weeks allows for Friday working remote
Travel: 10-15% (mostly local)

Position Description
As a Commissioning Agent III, you will demonstrate your engineering skills and by leveraging the firm's technology centric competitive edge you will work with design engineers, vendors, contractors, and client personnel to design, test, make operational, optimize, and validate Electrical systems in multiple 24x7 mission critical plants, pharmaceutical, healthcare, power generation or similar environments.
This position will involve developing and coordinating functional testing of multi-stack equipment and multi-redundant system configurations within a trade. You will review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning. Additional responsibilities will include:
--- Write and administer Commissioning Plans, and Systems Manuals consistent with company format.
--- Participate in / Ensure / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others.
--- Assist senior commissioning engineer or project manager in the on-going determination of project scheduling requirements, staffing requirements, and project budgets.
--- Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.

Position Requirements
--- Experience would include commissioning or designing of large Mechanical systems for industrial, datacenter, pharmaceutical processes, or laboratory clean rooms.
--- Technical strengths must be complemented by self-motivation, relationship building skills, and effective communication skills.
--- Must have HVAC experience. 4-7 years' experience.
--- Strong Mechanical commissioning experience is acceptable.
--- Key is to have actually done commissioning work, writing scripts, developing SOPs, MOPs, performing testing on heavy Mission Critical systems etc.
