Job Description:

Sales Support Manager Summary: CRG recently launched a search with a client of ours who has been in business since 1998 and has been committed to providing quality flooring to their customers since day one. They are currently looking for a Sales Support Lead to join their growing team of professionals. The role of the Sales Support Lead is to ensure the sales support team is delivering daily administrative support to the sales team. This role is critical to the support and stability of the sales team and will assist in implementing new platforms, initiatives, and systems integration for the sales organization. Opportunity: Direct Hire Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience) Location: Greater Charlotte area Schedule: Flexible work hours (40 hours per week) Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Team.
  • Assist Account Managers in managing orders, materials, and project flow from start to finish.
  • Responsible for maintaining price lists and accuracy in all pricing initiatives, while supporting sales with pricing requests, lead times, job setup, and order entry.
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives, Vendors, and Customers to ensure orders are accurately processed and follow-up details are provided in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for sales support training administration and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure Sales Team is current on all sales programs, tools, and materials while also managing the company calendar for Sales Representative presentations to the Sales Team.
  • Provide CRM sales support, including sales management processes.
  • Lead contact for the Sales Team providing customer service and support through collaborative engagement across operational activities.
  • Update and maintain relationships with Customers and Project Managers on TBD items, materials statuses, and open order items.
  • Organize and lead weekly job progress meetings with Project Managers and Sales Team.
  • Set up and/or maintain master data files including customer master data and material master data.
  • Escalate issues in supply chain that will affect job schedule and customer satisfaction to respective Account Manager. Qualifications:
    • Experience using a CRM, implementation is a plus
    • Experience using ERP systems highly preferred
    • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives
    • Experience within the construction and manufacturing industry required
    • Understanding of customer needs and requirements, while using effective and efficient communication skills
    • Ability to engage in various customer portals/systems and learn new systems quickly Category Code: JN011
