We are looking for a new team member who values that and can dive in and grow with us! -The Member Services Representative will be the first point of contact for membership-related questions, requests, and concerns. The member service representative's responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, assisting with membership related issues, processing transactions and assisting committees. -To be successful as a member service representative you should have strong customer service skills and enjoy working with people. - -Education/Experience: - -Bachelor's degree preferred, Microsoft Office and other software level computer skills needed, Strong analytic, management and communication skills - -Essential Functions: -

  • Recruitment and Marketing
  • Articulate benefits of membership to appropriate marketing target
  • Review and advise on member materials to market consistent message
  • Collaborate and contribute to marketing process through direct phone contact, letters, marketing materials -
    • Member Relations and Services
    • Obtain and upload member data and surveys
    • Coordinate member contacts and information requests in concert with staff
    • Assess member satisfaction regularly through interviews, structured evaluations and regular contact
    • Provide client support for data and information requests using resources
    • Upgrade website as appropriate with new materials
    • Meet regularly with staff to develop tactics for member retention and contact
    • Regularly review invoicing and payments to assure members are advised about membership value and increase retention
    • Monitor, support and report on member issues - -
      • Committee External Relations
      • Become familiar with the Bylaws to guide Communications and Structure
      • Coordinate Committee activities, documents and record keeping
      • Communicate with Committees on all activities as appropriate
      • Develop and assist with special projects
      • Develop goals, manage initiatives and evaluate results in conjunction with TCAA Leadership in the Strategic Plan
      • Complete and retain agendas and meeting minutes of all Committee as assigned
      • Monitor Committee member terms of office per Bylaws - -
