Come soar with us.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership and direction to Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, and enhancements This person will be responsible for driving and managing Teamcenter Engineering architecture to support UTC Aerospace strategic objectives. Specific responsibilities include;Provide subject matter expertise on configuration, development, and usage of TeamcenterProvide troubleshooting expertise during testing and implementation of Teamcenter system upgrades and enhancements.Define work for Teamcenter development resources, and providing oversight for testing of configured/developed code and enhancementsFacilitate harmonization of engineering processes across UTASEnsure compliance with IT's Software Development standards,Export Controls, and Sarbanes Oxley requirementsUse of Rational Team Concert or other ALM tool experience to manage work products and release processesDirect and contributing to the development of system documentationSupport the department's ACE quality initiatives and our drive for continuous improvementCoordinate technical work with outside partnersDefine system architecture and hosting strategyQualification: Basic QualificationsGreater than 7 years of relevant Teamcenter experienceAbility to work on team and individual assignmentsSignificant experience in the use of Teamcenter, PLM system designs, and Teamcenter implementations and consolidationsExperience in Agile-Scrum project management processesCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical customersAbility and drive to learn new skills (technical and functional)Experience configuring and trouble-shooting multi-site environmentsExperience integrating PLM and ERP systemsAbility to work well in a virtual team environment as well as a highly matrixed environmentCustomer focused, with excellent communication skillsAbility to lead in fast moving environment, as will be the case with regular system Go-LivesMay travel 10-20 times a year.This position can be based at any of the UTAS US facilities, with preference given to Windsor Locks, CTEducation: Bachelors in an Information Technology related field requiredNothing matters more to UTC Aerospace Systems than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
