Job Description:
Job Summary:
Moving inventory and production supplies safely from the warehouse
to the production floor, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of
materials, ensuring accurate completion of every order.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare
identifying information and variety against bills of lading,
invoices, orders or other records; examines incoming shipments for
damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify;
completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, crating and
banding; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of
lading.
Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet
jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize
storage.
Participates in counting and inspecting items while loading and
unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
Pull parts for the line and pull it to the line.
Participates in 5S activities within the warehouse and outside
storage areas.
Performs cycle counts of inventory and non-inventory items as
requested utilizing hand counts or weight counts.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Credentials and Experience
High School diploma or GED
1+ year e xperience in a warehouse environment
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is
occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes
or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate.
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close
vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and
Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job,
the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is
frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to sit.
