do:You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and
implementing manufacturing processes and methods required for a
premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include leading
and/or participating on projects that increase plant capacity,
reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce job hazards, and /or
improve product quality.How you will do it:
- Processing engineering change requests
- Trouble-shooting production problems
- Assist in trouble-shooting assembly & fabrication
equipment
- Optimizing work-station layout
- Justifying, specifying, and installing equipment
- Introducing new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial
Lots, Assist in Training, and work with Design Engineering on
Production Issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
- Creating and maintaining Bill of Materials and Routings
(Assembly and Fabrication).
- Supporting and/or leading Lean projects.What we look
for:Required
- Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing
discipline.
- Internship and collegiete experience OR 1- 3 years of
Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
within industry
- Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material
presentation, process flow, workstation
