Implementation Specialist (remote/Charlotte) - construction background required

Company: Dusty Robotics
Location: Charlotte
Posted on: April 1, 2024

Job Description:

Who We Are:

Dusty Robotics develops robot-powered tools for the modern construction workforce.

While today's buildings are built predominantly with manual labor, Dusty envisions a future in which skilled labor makes use of robotic automation to make the work safer, more efficient, and more precise! We want to create a future where construction workers don't need to retire early because their bodies give out. In Dusty's future, the buildings we live and work in are built by teams of creative and problem-solving construction crews who direct robots to do the dull/dirty/dangerous work.

What We're Building:

Headquartered in Mountain View, California, Dusty bridges the gap between the digital world of building design with the skilled labor operating in the field, accelerating the digital transformation of the construction industry. The centerpiece of our strategy is the FieldPrinter: a mobile printer-on-wheels that prints building floorplans full-size on the concrete floor of a construction site. When errors in layout can cause multi-million-dollar mistakes, our product ensures that all field crews are building off of a single source of truth derived from the digital model.

What You'll Do:

Do you want to travel and enable clients in the construction industry in their adoption of innovative technology? An exciting opportunity awaits you as part of a dynamic customer success team as it continues to take shape within a fast-growing construction robotics company delivering a groundbreaking product that revolutionizes the construction process.

In this role, you will become a trainer and coach for a set of innovative construction companies, in order to support and grow utilization of our FieldPrinter layout automation solution. You will be traveling approximately 75-80% of the time and fully customer facing, ensuring our clients/partners receive the full value the utilization of our FrieldPrinter automation solution provides. Your mission is to train, identify barriers to full utilization, and remove those roadblocks from our clients' workflows. You will be present on job sites across the United States in support of our customers while they onboard with the FieldPrinter. Your efforts will accelerate customer onboarding and smooth use of the system and enable expansion on construction projects across the US and around the world. Your success will depend on your understanding of our customers and their needs, fluency with our products and how they can be used to build value for our customers, top-notch relationship building skills, and a drive to support and train our customers to make them ultimately successful.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will be working directly with our customers to ensure successful deployment of our technology. You will train clients in how to operate our products and identify ways for them to increase utilization. You will maintain and grow onsite relationships, train on proper equipment use, gather feedback about the product and training experience, proactively resolve problems, and support new ways to increase adoption. You will visit clients on their job sites to assist them on site. You will advocate for your customers inside of Dusty and share insights. By helping us enable our end users, you will have the unique opportunity to jumpstart innovation, improve productivity, and increase efficiency across one of the largest sectors in the global economy: construction.

Reporting directly to our Head of Professional Services, this role is focused on onboarding and implementation and will be central to fostering excellence within our Customer Team Organization's objectives.
