Position Details
Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $25 - $30/hr
Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (2 days per week); 2nd shift 7:00pm - 7:00am (1 day per week)

Position Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will repair, modify, and overhaul all mechanical equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic machine tools, gear driven, and equipment. You will also be charged with correcting malfunctions in hydraulic, vacuum, and compressed air systems and adjusting general controls and regulators as well as maintaining a wide variety of specialized equipment such as: Flexo Die Cutters, Corrugators, etc. Additional duties and responsibilities will include:
--- Produce precision metal parts using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and spindles.
--- Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
--- Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.
--- Coordinate with other trades to minimize interruption and down time on equipment.
--- Troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use.

Position Requirements
--- The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of industrial mechanic experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
--- Experience troubleshooting and basic electrical knowledge/experience.
--- Specialized tools will be provided, but you are expected to provide your own basic hand tools.
--- Proficiency in all I.P. safety requirements (LOTT, Arc Flash, Hot Work, PreTask, and Lockout Exception Forms).
--- Ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.
