Head of Enterprise Systems, AMR Region has responsibility to lead enterprise systems including deploying, integrating, and maintaining systems including Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Project Management, Payroll, and Time & attendance systems (T&A) for the Americas region. -
The role would involve designing enterprise architecture for Ports and Terminal & Logistics domain with a focus on creating a framework for business processes across the value chain that include customer management, shipment execution & orchestration, Transportation management, warehouse management, Terminal operating system, Time & Attendance, Finance, Supply Chain execution, Procurement, Human Resources, Project financials, Billing systems and Maintenance (Maximo).
The role is responsible for supporting and executing the Group Technology IT strategy, product evaluation & selection, support make/buy recommendations, including supporting design requirements for SOX, SSAE18, data privacy regulations (PIPEDA, LGPD, etc), and other corporate compliance requirements. -
The role will work closely with the regional CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and regional leaders from Group Finance and Group People to ensure timely and value-add service is provided. The role also works closely with Group Technology and various Oracle vendors and system integrators (SI) on a regular basis to ensure a smooth implementation and post-implementation support.
Responsible to Lead the overall Oracle Fusion Implementation project for Finance, Supply Chain, Project Financials, HCM and BI Analytics for Americas.
Post-implementation responsibility to maintain and support the Hybrid landscape i.e., cloud-based Oracle fusion and various non-cloud-based Payroll and T&A systems to support the local business statutory needs and compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Leadership and management of the AMR enterprise systems support. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the scheduling and prioritization of projects in conjunction with the Group Finance and Group People needs, including master data, information security, training, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Responsible for closely evaluating the current T&A and Payroll systems. Identify options by performing a fit/gap analysis on alternatives available within DP World & Group Technology. Liaise with business to develop a business case for change, and see-through implementation, integration, and ongoing support
  • Use of SDLC (software development life cycle), change control, and PMO (Project Management Office) processes and tools to ensure high quality of end deliverable including on-time/budget and adherence to specifications. Ensure appropriate cross-functional resourcing and initiative planning is coordinated with other IT shared services functions (Infrastructure, EDI, Service Desk, Telecoms, InfoSec, etc).
  • Support requirements gathering for Group Technology with the business support functions (Finance, SCM, Project, HCM, Payroll, T&A) is established. Ensure role and responsibilities for Group Technology, Group Finance, and Group People are clear and agreed. Produce IT Gap analysis, associated level-of effort (resource, time, cost) as input to Cost benefit/Cost justification analysis for Steering-level approval and prioritization.
  • Work with Group Finance and Group People to produce joint project plans. Ensure project meetings are in place and regular updates provided to the Finance/IT/HCM steering audience in line with meeting cadence.
  • Liaison and management of third-party software IT vendors providing services, software, consultancy, and support to DPW such as Oracle, SAP, etc. 3rd party contract partners and implementers of software where required.
  • Responsibilities includes negotiating vendor licensing and service costs, establishing SLA's, measuring vendor compliance, ensuring license compliance, overseeing requirements documentation to receive an accurate quotation, and collaborating with procurement on approvals and delivery. Ensure quality of service, on-time and within budget.
  • Translation of high level/conceptual business models and requirements into practical, optimized, cost effective working IT solutions. Production of detailed functional and technical specifications, Formal Integration Design and QA (Quality Assurance) scripting for the overall business/customer solution through DPW led workshops using formal processes and tools such as process/physical/data flows and data mapping.
  • Support and execute transformation initiatives with innovative solutions, including adopt/embrace latest Digitization and Automation technologies to meet the growing demand of modernization across all of the Back Office systems.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree in computer science, business administration, or information systems -OR- a combination of equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 15 years related work experience in a position(s) with increasing responsibility and supervisory duties may be accepted.
    • Certifications on Oracle, SAP or Enterprise Architecture like TOGAF or ARCHIMATE

      EXPERIENCE -

      • Strong IT background required (15 Years) with broad exposure to design and delivery of complex Global Back-office systems deployed across multiple geographies. Preferred experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP ECC, SAP S4/Hana, or similar systems. Experience managing Enterprise-class Payroll and T&A systems deployed both in on-prem and cloud environments across multiple regions.
      • Experience in managing & architecting complex solution for large programs across applications.
      • Experience in designing the IT roadmap, scoping exercise, building program schedule, managing scope, schedule, costs, quality, resources, communication, risks, procurement, and stakeholders. -
