We pride ourselves on unmatched customer service and quality communication that keeps our customers always informed so they can have peace of mind throughout any Groovy Hues project A power wash technician is responsible for using high-pressure water and cleaning agents to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants from a variety of surfaces. This may include cleaning the exteriors of buildings, sidewalks, driveways, decks, and other outdoor structures. The power wash technician may also be responsible for operating and maintaining the power washing equipment, as well as ensuring that it is used safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. In addition, the power wash technician may be responsible for preparing surfaces for cleaning, such as by removing loose debris and protecting nearby plants and structures. The power wash technician may also be responsible for communicating with customers and providing them with information about the power washing process and the services offered by the company. Overall, the power wash technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that the company's power washing services are performed safely and effectively, and that customers are satisfied with the results. Responsibilities

  • Review job(s) for the day based on work orders
  • Confirm that the van/trailer is prepared for the workday, including the following:
    • All products for each project to be completed that day are loaded into vehicles
    • Equipment, tools, and ladders are present and in good working condition
      • Vehicle fuel, occasional maintenance, and washing.
        • Understanding and mixing proper chemical solutions dependent on a specific project
        • Assess each job to determine an efficient/effective technical installation plan before beginning
        • Present and close wash sales when canvasing
        • Complete work as designed and communicate to ensure any unclear issues are resolved
          • Complete any on-site cleanup
          • Complete final walkthrough on-site with the customer
          • Complete any required record keeping and submit receipts as needed Required Qualifications
            • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
              • Must have a valid driver s license
              • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
              • Motivated, high energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking
              • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualities
                • Demonstrated concern for the safety of all crew members
                • Drive to learn and reach both career and self-improvement goals
                • Ability to plan, work and make decisions independently Physical Demands: This position is integral to our operations. The role is responsible for traveling to job sites to install and test equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and clean up the job site after project completion. Required to lift up to 50 pounds regularly & repeatedly and must be able to stand/walk for up to 10+ hours per day. Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
