Our client is a private family-owned company producing wood-based panel products worldwide.Roles Summary:We are currently seeking an experienced and talented mid-level Electrical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer. This role reports to the Electrical Supervisor.Responsibilities:Supervise and maintain records of all Electrical work carried out within their area of responsibilityCreate and implement strategic directions for reliability and maintenance of plant including developing Preventative Maintenance plansTrain and oversee employees, inspect work, assign tasks, drive vehicles, and take disciplinary actions when needed and Supervisor is unavailableCreate, implement, and monitor work processes to achieve business objectives in terms of Operating Asset UtilizationMaintain Critical Spare parts list and designated inventoryProvide out-of-hours support as requiredOn-call duty within the Electrical on-call planRespond to mill breakdowns in a timely and effective manner and work closely with different area operators to resolve maintenance related issuesInvestigate root causes of equipment failures and make recommendations for long term fixesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar related engineering degreeMinimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in similar role.Proficient in reading blueprints, European E-plan drawings, and metric systemAny experience with short cycle press or wood processing or particle board manufacturing#electricalreliability #maintenanceengineer #woodprocessing
