The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The
selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be
located anywhere in the United States. Will work an East Coast
Schedule.
About the job:
The candidate will serve on the Biomedical Service Business Systems
Integration team as a Maximo Business Systems Analyst. The
candidate must have a strong understanding and at least 5+ years'
experience working with the IBM Maximo Application (known as e-Max
in the American Red Cross.)
What you will be doing:
* User and system support which includes day to day support of
staff and development of queries in response to user needs.
* System administration which includes user access management,
database change requests, Location management, Asset model
management, Domain management (value lists), and manage
integrations and SFTP issues
* Change management (5%): Initiate and Complete standard changes
for non-functional and report changes as well support the urgent
Release team and approve necessary documents
* Configuration management and partner with IBM to develop
configuration changes, perform all necessary testing, maintain
proper documentation, and working knowledge of IBM self-service
portal functions
* Maintain and post all necessary documentation to support
e-MAX.
* Serve as liaison with third party support vendor for support and
project work as well as facilitate all meetings to coordinate
updates, downtimes, and the eMax distribution list.
* Participate in all requested audits as key contact for eMax
system audits
* Participate and support other projects and activities that
require an e-MAX subject matter experience
* Work to ensure that e-Max meets all IT Compliance
requirementsScope: Individual contributor that works under limited
supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand
specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.
Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United
States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment

What we need from you:
* 5+ years of Maximo experience
* Experience with the IBM Self-Service Portal
* Working knowledge of using SQL and demonstrated experience using
it with Maximo
* Other experience desired but not mandatory: JavaScript, Python,
XML, HTML, and MS Excel, PowerBI reporting skills
* Experience working in a regulated environment and change
management
* Demonstrated experience of working independently
* Good written and verbal communication skills to support multiple
teams and users.Education:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems or related field required.

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work
assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to
visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate
(lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds.
Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger
dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a
keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall
mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of
time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging
conditions.
Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for
exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services
relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences
throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.
Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff
may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. We
do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red
Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in
which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be
used to determine your actual salary may include your specific
skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to
other employees already in this role. We will review specific
salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your
location & expereince.
