Where you'll work:



Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a hybrid position for candidates based in Charlotte, NC.



How you'll contribute:



As an Office Procedures Consultant, you'll be part of the Real Estate and Crisis Management team and be responsible for supporting a broad array of key initiatives for the team/company. The position is responsible for property management oversight at all five of our office locations, supporting the physical security program, and implementation and execution of company sponsored events.



In this role, you'll get to:



* Provide property management oversight for all five Brighthouse Financial office locations including conference room and workspace management including reservations, partnership with all business units, space planning, facilities functions, manage repairs, reporting, inventory, liaison with external partners that support Real Estate functions, development of processes and documentation to enhance in-office experiences, etc.

* Assist with receiving and dispatching of work orders to technical staff, vendors or other service providers

* Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource needs and status reports

* Gather metrics and feedback to help the organization improve on support tools and offerings

* Manage critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers

* Provide information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to assigned processes, procedures, and/or initiatives

* Support the Brighthouse Financial physical security program including badging creation for employees, consultants and vendors, employee offboarding, liaison with security vendors, reporting, etc.

* Regularly audit and monitor all aspects of the physical security program to ensure compliance and accuracy

* Manage relationship and processes with vendor who performs client badging for employees, consultants and vendors

* Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State and local codes, regulations and requirements

* Support company sponsored events including coordination of attendees and necessary tax documentation. Partner with key external contacts for logistics, catering, ticketing and additional events outside the contract

* Ensure that contracts, deposits, insurance coverage and all event-related documents are properly processed



We're looking for people who have:



* A Bachelor's degree (preferred)

* 5+ years of related work experience

* Strong project management skills

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and understand real estate and security terminology and legal documents

* Experience negotiating with vendors, landlords, etc.

* Ability to plan and manage a diverse workload under time constraints

* Ability to work non-standard work hours when needed including occasional weekends and evenings during company sponsored events

* Excellent customer, computer, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
