The Professional Services Consultant Lead is a key role within the newly created Tech Services team. If you have experience in Professional Services organization with a background in project management or technical consulting and are looking to get on a path into people management this is an excellent opportunity. The Tech Services Lead will split their time between people management (60%) and individual contributor (40%) responsibilities ranging from project management or consulting services.

In this role you will oversee a small tech services team of Implementation Managers and Service Consultants who work to help partners accelerate their time to value and achieve success with our products. The Tech Services Lead will own and have oversight of service engagements to ensure they are completed on time and partners have achieved their desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

People Responsibilities

  • Over see some of the day-to-day activities of the team as assigned by your Manager
  • Serve as a mentor to your team and provide oversight, guidance and training as needed
  • On-board new team member as they join and ensure they are setup for success by delivering coaching and necessary training
  • Ensure all service engagements exceed expectations and delivers an effortless partner experience
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular team progress reports to senior management
    Individual Contributor Responsibilities

    • Coordinates different aspects of service engagements working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Upon assignment of a project, manages the workflow/timeline with client start date, continually updates project documentation.
    • Lead kick-off meetings and coordinate all project management aspects of service engagements, as required.
    • Clearly understand and document partners requirements and definition for success; define an implementation strategy in collaboration with service consultants to achieve partners desired objectives.
    • Accurately track and monitor implementation plans against timelines, milestones, and deliverables with partner stakeholders, document client interactions and activity clearly.
    • Maintain working knowledge and understanding of N-able products, how they are used and configured, the problems they solve and their value proposition
      Qualifications

      • 3+ years of technical software implementation management experience
      • 3+ years of project management experience with working knowledge of different methodologies, tools and techniques OR a technical consulting background deliver professional services in an IT or MSP environment.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
      • Experience with conflict resolution and escalation management.
      • Serious interest in creating a career path in people Management.
