Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to support and enhance our Deposits Analytics and Reporting platform in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at . In this role, you will:

  • Support and enhance CIB's Deposits platform to meet ongoing business needs for insights into the portfolio and customer activity
  • Work closely with the CIB Deposits Strategy Team and other key stakeholders in CIB Finance or CIB COO to understand both short-term and long-term business needs.
  • Translate business needs into clear, technical requirements to deliver effective solutions.
  • Manage, prioritize, and lead multiple projects to enhance the CIB Deposits platform and associated reporting in Tableau and/or Excel.
  • Build and enhance reports in Tableau and/or Excel, surfacing actionable insights in easily digestible formats.
  • Anticipate how macro trends such as interest rate changes will impact Deposit reporting needs and adjust reporting metrics and content accordingly.
  • Oversee various Deposit platform projects and ensure requirements are tracked, backlogs are maintained and prioritized with stakeholders; coordinate across business teams and technical resources to ensure successful project and enhancement delivery.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis as needed to support project activity or new business requests for insights.
  • Be great at execution, including incorporating robust data quality checks and resiliency into report production so delivery is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners.
  • Periodically, provide analytical support to others within our CIB - Data Insights and Analytics (DI&A) team as business demands warrant.
  • Serve as a peer mentor. Guide and manage less experienced or technical staff, interns, and external contractors.
  • Interact with colleagues across multiples time zones and regions.Required Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
      • 7+ years of scripting/coding experience with at least 5 years writing SQL and working with relational databases.
      • 5+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) development experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Oracle BI, Python, and SAS, with 3+ years of day-to-day, hands-on experience using Tableau.
      • Demonstrated thought-leadership building new analytical and reporting solutions in complex business environments.
      • Proficiency using Database tools such as TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio and Oracle.
      • Previous experience performing analytics and reporting on Deposits.
      • Previous Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) or management consulting experience.
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
      • Demonstration of engagement across cultures and stakeholders.
      • Engagement and work with multiple senior management stakeholders.
      • Proficiency using MS Office Applications such as Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
