About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant...Wells Fargo's Credit Risk Group independently oversees the management of credit risk exposures (including monitoring and reporting on aggregate credit exposures across groups, legal entities, geographies, and other jurisdictions) and the quality of credit risk management practices across the company.Our team provides and maintains an enterprise-wide integrated view of credit data. This includes preparation of firm-wide commercial reporting and analysis. This role would include participation in the submission and analysis of the FR Y14Q, aggregation or other portfolio reports. Other responsibilities would include conducting in-depth data analysis to identify data gaps & issues and provide recommendation to resolve the issues while maintaining documentation and desktop procedures.Preparation of firm-wide commercial reporting and analysis.   • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, firm-wide commercial credit reporting and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
  • Review and analyze complex data aggregation, reporting, and programming .
  • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and documentation in alignment with policy and regulatory guidance and governance
  • Resolve data or production issues and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
  • Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common strategies
  • Track & remediate data quality issues that come up as part of the reporting
  • Partner with support team to come up with data validation edit checks and remediation
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify data gaps & issues and provide recommendation to resolve the issues
  • Seek ways to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
  • Enhance data monitoring, audit, and documentation to ensure data quality, and proactively identify and mitigate risk potential
  • Perform data analysis to address reconciliation outliers. Effectively document research performed. Share / communicate discovery with peers, as applicable
  • Support process development requests received from data repository owner
  • Maintain documentation and desktop proceduresRequired Qualifications:
    • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
      • Experience with governance and oversight requirements for regulatory and risk reporting
      • 3 years of experience in commercial credit portfolio reporting and data quality monitoring highly desirable.
      • Data validation experience
      • Experience in building / coding data quality rules or validations
      • Knowledge of WMCRD SQL or CAR Teradata repositories / reporting
      • Knowledge and understanding of commercial processes, relationship aggregation 14Q H1-2 and other regulatory submissions
      • 5+ years of SQL researching, gathering, manipulating, analyzing and reporting from large complex datasets
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Result-orientated to deliver, self-motivated to learn and to influence.
      • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
      • Outstanding problem solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
      • Experience with data governance frameworks, including documentation of procedures, process controls, and data/information sources and flow
      • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills Preferred locations(s) listed above.
