About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant...In this role, you will:

  • Manage regulatory governance programs supporting trading activities, including but not limited to: Regulation W, Regulation O, Insider Trading Compliance, QFC, Swap Dealer Regulations, LIBOR/SOFR Controls -
  • Implementation for initiatives which require operational set up and support outside of normal BAU and mostly driven by new initiatives. -
  • SME and IP Representative on trading platforms and solution, driving improved process and controls (SHRP Resolutions, Regulatory change resulting in business process change etc.) Examples include TRACE, LIBOR Control implementation and modification of business process, Swap Dealer Execution Time Stamp remediation, CFTC Recordkeeping project to name a few.
  • Serve as primary contact for trading options regulatory compliance and associated procedures.
  • Primary IP Trade Operations liaison with Legal Entity partners, Securities Operations & Accounting (SO&A) team, regulatory compliance and Finance Business Management Office -(BMO)
  • Trade Operations AU management and user access reviews and certifications
  • Partner and drive results for the virtual Trading team in combination with the Trading Support Role.
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Strategy and Execution team, Finance Business Management Office team, Control team, Independent Risk Management (IRM) teams, team and business leaders to drive strategic initiativesRequired Qualifications, US:

        • Experience in enterprise risk management, risk appetite and key risk indicator setting and monitoring, and/or regulatory limit monitoring
        • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
        • Self-Starter mentality, driving action without significant management oversight and in partnership with key stakeholders
        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills -
        • Strong analytical ability accompanied with impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, big picture orientation and business acumen
        • Passion for researching complex issues, distilling information into concise presentations and offering actionable resolutions
        • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Confluence, SharePoint Online
        • Understanding of the regulatory landscape for large financial institutionInvestment PortfolioThe Wells Fargo Investment Portfolio (IP) manages the Company's Available-For-Sale (AFS) and Held-To-Maturity (HTM) securities and certain loan portfolios, hedging of the home Lending Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) asset, and the Reinsurance and Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) and Risk and Insurance Management (RIM) businesses as part of the Finance group. IP also supports balance sheet interest rate risk management and related strategy, coordination, execution responsibilities, as well as centralized, street-facing derivative trading team, and mortgage model development services for the enterprise. The Investment Portfolio consists of:
          • The Business Strategy & Execution team is responsible for driving change and accountability through delivering on strategic objectives, maintenance of a strong control environment, effective management of human capital and partner relationships. The IP BSE team serves as a trusted advisor and aid in establishing business priorities for the portfolios and the teams, responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing a variety of services and initiatives on behalf of the portfolio executives and their respective teams.
          • Financial Forecasting & Reporting (FFR): Centrally manages income and balance sheet forecasting and portfolio level reporting.
          • Credit Investment Portfolio (CIP): Responsible for the evaluation of credit-driven investment opportunities across a broad spectrum of corporate notes, loans, Municipal bonds, CLOs, and other asset backed securities
          • High Quality Liquid Assets Portfolio is responsible for the management of the company's portfolio of AFS and HTM fixed income HQLA assets. - This exposure is intended to support the liquidity, interest rate risk management, and earnings objectives on behalf of Corporate ALCO. - The HQLA Portfolio's asset appetite is discretionary and at the direction of ALCO to deploy a portion of the Company's excess deposits in a safe and sound manner. - In addition to overseeing HQLA assets, the Portfolio team is also responsible for certain WFC equity activities including share repurchases. -
          • Interest Rate Risk Strategy & Execution (IRR-SE) is responsible for end-to-end interest rate risk management across the balance sheet while interfacing with LOB leaders and their senior Finance officers, Treasury teams and the portfolio to ensure business strategy and interest rate risk management are optimally aligned and managed. IRR-SE will drive a consistent, dynamic and real-time approach to manage risk and capitalize on market opportunities, while interfacing with Capital and Liquidity partners. -
          • Portfolio Strategy, and Analytics (PSA): Centrally manages IP's analytics, including stress testing, sensitivity analytics, and optimizing investment decision making within capital, liquidity, and risk management constraints.
          • Reinsurance and Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) businesses which consist of both life and annuity insurance contracts.
          • Risk & Insurance Management (RIM) manages the Company's exposure to accidental loss.
