The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is a regional
disaster and hunger-relief network that brings together community
resources to share tens of millions of pounds of food with
neighbors each year. Our highly collaborative team believes that
empowerment, education and partnerships are key to getting food
into the hands of those who need it most. With the help of 145
partner agencies, nearly 200 school partners and more than ten
thousand volunteers, our day-to-day efforts help feed nearly

mission that speaks to you. POSITION SUMMARY: The Development
Manager for Corporate and Community Relations is responsible for
coordinating the planning and strategic development of the process
for securing major gifts through corporations, corporate
foundations, and community organizations. They develop long-term
positive donor relationships and solicit corporations to aid in
increasing revenue. They collaborate with the food and fund drive
specialist, grants team and marketing and communications to fulfill
specific projects related to corporate and community support. JOB
QUALIFICATIONS: Have a bachelor’s degree Highly organized,
detail-oriented and data-driven Proficient in computer operations
using Microsoft Suite Excellent oral and written communication
skills Public speaking experience Able to strategically problem
solve Ability to work well with a variety of people and
personalities Ability to respect confidentiality and handle money
with integrity The ideal candidate will be able to work well
independently, strategically, able to collaborate within a team
environment, respect confidentiality and handle money with
integrity Be sensitive to the needs of low-income people DUTIES:
Donor Relationship Management: Manages relationships with current
and prospective corporate and organizational donors, leading to
increased financial support. Includes defining corporate portfolio
and actively cultivating and stewarding these relationships, moving
them along through the entire donor process Special Events: Leads
strategy to solicit event sponsorships, along with supporting the
Community Relations and Events Coordinator as needed for events.
Also collaborates with the Food and Fund Drive Specialist, as
corporate entities are involved with major food and fund drives.
Actively work to establish long-term corporate partnerships and
strengthen existing relationships with local and national corporate
prospective donors. Ensure that department procedures and policies
related to maintaining donor records and proposals are followed;
utilize existing systems, software, and technology to maintain
current constituent records. Work collaboratively with staff across
the organization to manage the information flow needed for reports
and funding proposals to reflect the most accurate and
comprehensive view of the organization, keeping the current
strategic plan top of mind. Evaluate new funding opportunities and
prospects and help to set strategy and direction toward donors with
the most potential to support the organization. Utilize TFB’s
external partnerships to help identify new corporate entities in
communities across the service area, etc. Work collaboratively with
Finance and individual giving staff on tax credits (NAP and
Pantry). Represent the department and The Food Bank to corporate
donors and the public through visits, written and phone
communications. Lead the development and creation of a formalized
Corporate Partnership Program in collaboration with the Director of
Individual Giving, the Strategic Communications and Marketing Team
and the Community Relations and Events Coordinator. Lead corporate
efforts and aspects of the annual Score Against Hunger Campaign,
such as the Corporate Quarterback program, etc. Specific metrics
and detailed goals will be developed related to donor visits,
fundraising totals, and growth in the number of donors, etc. Salary
Range: $48,000 - $52,000 per year
