What You Will Be Doing The Greenville and F-16 Communications
Manager leads strategic internal and external communications
activities for the F-16 aircraft program as well as the Greenville,
South Carolina site. The manager is responsible for developing and
executing the overall integrated communications strategy for the
F-16 program and the Greenville site. The manager will lead a team
of communicators, providing mentoring and coaching, assigning work,
and partnering effectively. The candidate must have demonstrated
strategic communications experience along with a reputation for
building strong relationships and working across organizational
boundaries. The candidate may represent the company with media
inquiries and events, community engagements, briefings and
presentations. In addition, this person leads strategic executive
communications support to the Vice President of the F-16 program
and Greenville site lead. Key Responsibilities • Develop and
execute integrated communications strategies for the F-16 program
and the Greenville site. • Manage development, execution and
maintenance of master F-16 and Greenville message and content
packages. • Lead crisis and issues management for the F-16 and
Greenville site, coordinating as appropriate with stakeholders. •
Manage domestic and international media relations by building
trusted relationships with key F-16-focused and local Greenville
reporters. • Partner with Government Relations on civic engagement
strategies and execution. • Provide strategic direction for
community relations, marketing and digital media approaches. • Use
metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve, adjust and

Experience leading people, projects, and/or project teams and
collaborating effectively with others to achieve results. •
Experience engaging with media and demonstrated storytelling
experience landing narratives across multiple audiences, including
employees, customers and media outlets. • Experience developing and
executing communications plans for executives, employees, complex
products or programs. • Experience handling multiple priorities and
meeting set deadlines. Desired skills • Strong writing, editing and
oral communications skills with ability to convey complex subjects
into clear communications plans and content for targeted audiences.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across
all levels of a complex organization. • Crisis management skills
and experience. • Ability to measure communications effectiveness
and make data-driven decisions. • Self-motivated to perform
effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines, while

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position may work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding
most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois,
Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington
DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the
salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final
work location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented
full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid
Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other
reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full
time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up
to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for
holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated
based on start date during the calendar year. This position is
incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
