OPERATIONS SUPPORT CLERK Gannett Publishing Services Charlotte, NC Job Purpose: - Answer and respond to customer calls, perform data entry and initiate outbound calls for carrier recruitment. Key Responsibilities: - Answer telephone and resolve customer concerns and/or questions and respond to customers in a timely manner. - Monitor a centralized e-mail mailbox and respond to requests for returns, draws and account maintenance for both single copy and home distribution. Enter information in database. - Conduct carrier recruitment by either making a scripted outbound call or responding to inbound calls in the database. Accountabilities: Area of Influence. Indicate the position's primary area of responsibility (e.g., Head of a Business Unit, Department, etc.). Identify internal client groups or dotted-line reporting relationships that are critical to the job. Please include the frequency of the contact, if relevant. Requirements: Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet the minimum entry-level requirements (not necessarily the incumbent's experience or education level) for this job. This may include special skills, statutes or regulations, and department procedures. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience required: Data Entry and Customer Service experience required Specialized Knowledge Required or Preferred: Bilingual skills preferred. English language fluency: speaking and writing Proven Customer Service skills Proven verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of concentration towards customers Ability to handle a variety of task Detail oriented Technical Skills: Proficient with a PC including Microsoft Office suites, Email, Excel and Word #GPSFT Gannett Co., Inc. is a proud equal opportunity employer.
