As a
US FOODS--
Will Call Clerk
you will be assisting the warehouse, sales team, customers, and vendors with order placements for pick up or delivery. Perform back up activities throughout warehouse support ing all aspects of shipping and receiving. Activities include data entry of shipping and receiving information, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/record s .
Process Will Call orders from warehouse with accuracy and support with customer serviceSchedule receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight of warehousePrepare and update d elivery a ppointment sheet daily for s hipping and r eceivingResponsible for accurate data entry with s hipping and r eceiving informationPrepare in-bound documents, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/record maintenanceAssign receiving doors for inbound carrier for warehouseEnter in all Purchase Orders and verify all PO's have been cleared by end of dayManage discrepancy reportSchedule all backhauls by coordinating with the Buying department; prepare weekly backhaul reportFile out of stock and damage claims within warehouse What you bring to the table
Education/Training
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredRelated Experience/Requirements:
Preferred 3 years' experience with warehouse & delivery procedures .Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
C ommunicate clearly both in writing and verballyT elephone skills, math skills, and organizational skillsBasic computer skills, and good analytical skillsR esolve routine problems of limited scopeYour efforts are the foundation that defines
