How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Division Pricing Support Specialist plays a vital role in
supporting Divisional and Regional pricing strategies, price
execution, and overall price management. In alignment with national
strategy and policy, the Specialist develops ongoing pricing
reports and provides timely, actionable insights to Division and
Region business leaders, including the Director of Pricing,
Presidents, VP Finance, AVPs, and the sales force.
This role involves collaborative efforts across Regions and
Divisions to ensure the consistent application of strategy, policy,
and procedure. The Specialist investigates and makes decisions for
day-to-day and strategic pricing issues involving the Division and
its Regions, with the goal of enhancing the overall pricing
structure, margin, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Develop and generate standardized reports to support regional and
divisional price management.
Assist branch personnel in executing price changes and optimizing
pricing structures. - Support contract management related to entry
to PROS and annual reviews for increases.
Aid in the management of price actions across the division and
regions.
Assist with price owner changes and customer master changes related
to pricing.
Monitor price overrides for price level and price compliance issues
and contribute to the development and maintenance of regional
action plans.
Generate and analyze price performance reports, summarizing key
findings to facilitate the development of new strategies or
tactics.
Apply pricing rules, policies, and decisions firmly and fairly,
providing detailed explanations supporting decisions and resolving
pricing discrepancies.
Contribute to the design and development of new pricing and
contract management systems, processes, and reports, including
testing and training for new systems implementation.
Undertake special projects and perform other duties as
required.

below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance,
math/statistics, information technology, or a related field.
Two to four years of work experience in pricing, financial
analysis, profitability analysis, product marketing, or economics;
experience in industrial gases, welding/safety products is
preferred.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google
Slides), Outlook, and SAP.
Ability to quickly identify relevant details while working with
voluminous data.
Strong communication, follow-up, time management, critical
thinking, and decision-making skills, with a solid business
acumen.
Self-starting, proactive individual comfortable working
independently and in teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
Creative and analytical thinker.
