mind? You'll utilize your technical knowledge to implement and
support IT initiatives, while providing technical support and
resolving problems of a moderately complex nature. As an asset to
IT team, you'll assist users/departments in implementing requests
or proposals and in determining information system's needs.You'll
report to the onsite Senior IT Supervisor. You'll contribute to the
success of your co-worker's experience and the overall success of
the team.During a Typical Day, You'll
- Perform moderately advanced technological systems support,
maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; may
troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system hardware,
software, and network failures and conflicts
- Provides individual and/or group instruction and training to
faculty and staff, on new or updated technologies, may supervise
lower graded staff and employees performing the same or similar
type of work
- Perform varied technical assistance and maintenance duties;
maintain and update record keeping system; document projects; write
and maintain user instructions
- Perform the installation, configuration and maintenance of
computers, workstations and other related equipment and
devices
- Serve as a primary project member on technology projects with
moderate scope and impact; may provide guidance and integration of
other staff work
- May participate in technology projects with large scope and
broad organizational impactWhat You Bring to the Role
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology with a
bachelor's degree in an IT capacity or IT certification with
experience
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software,
applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tasks for
effective project management
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on systems software,
applications, hardware, networking, and communicationsWhat You Can
