Job Description:This role is an individual Contributor, who is responsible for leading cross functional infrastructure teams to manage the delivery infrastructure work aligned to usually one Technology Executive, including various initiatives and projects within APS/TI. In support of one CIO Technology Executive, serve as single point of contact for the CIO application teams and leaders for all infrastructure needs. Work closely with the CIO, TI, Business and other stakeholders to maintain infrastructure portfolio. Remediate, escalate, coordinate and resolve issues/escalations. Prioritize work efforts as needed while ensuring proper TI/APS initiative funding levels are maintained. In support of key APS/TI strategies, responsible for engaging CIO application teams to ensuring awareness, planning and implementation of key TI/APS driven strategies, programs and objectives. Also responsible for brokering unresolved problems between TI and CIO application teams along with complex service requests.Overview:The Demand Management team provides management and oversight of the demand portfolio for the Global Network Services Release and Deployment team. Governance oversight for required project records and artifacts throughout the engagement lifecycle. Facilitates time-tracking, chargeback routines, and mechanisms for internal and multiple 3rd party partners, ensuring time & expenses from all resources have been captured, and that corresponding data is delivered to finance at the designated intervals. Maintains stakeholder engagement, portfolio oversight, reporting routines and processes. Continuously evolves engagement and resource data to produce reporting insights and products that provide leadership and delivery stakeholders with timely views of key portfolio health, status, resource, and budget aspects. Demand and Labor Cost Administrator supports the Demand Analysts who facilitate demand lifecycle management activities and Demand Recovery Analysts who facilitate resource financial recovery for Network engagements. Administers and facilitates a range of supporting activities, tracking, and reporting. Activities can include tracking of allocated resources, resource time entry, validation of resource cost-sizing and other required data entry aspects, ensuring process tool gate approvals and required project documentation is produced and posted to project artifact repositories. Provide tier 1 support to release Managers in the areas of scope and quote preparation and resource allocation/utilization practices. Facilitate communications/notifications with team leads to provide tracking data and escalations related to assigned engagements and resources. Support efforts to reconcile discrepancies in project scope/quote. Prepare reporting for engagement portfolio aspects such as assignment, progress against timeline, resources rolling on/off engagements.Key to this role is an understanding of Demand Management as a service provider, the routines and activities required to facilitate and oversee the delivery of network services. Functions supported by Demand Management include Network Release Management and Network Deployment Engineering, and the tracking and chargeback of those resources in a highly controlled and regulated environment. Concepts such as consistency and quality in delivery, continuous improvement, on-time and under-budget, effective and detailed communications and understanding how their work impacts how the firm competes in the marketplace are important. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a sustainable Demand Management-Demand Analyst function that assesses, qualifies, and traffics engagements and resources throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Demand Analyst activities involve tracking large resource pools of internal and external resources that deliver engagements of varying complexity in a diversified network services engagement portfolio
  • Provide first-level support to Change managers in the areas of scope, quote and adherence to resource and related administrative project routines
  • Support a sustainable resource cost estimating, time tracking, and reporting practice
  • Administer a portfolio of cost estimate vs. actual tracking and reporting practice
  • Administer and enforce phase change status and project documentation requirements
  • Administer standard reporting commitments for area concerns such as Resource Capacity, Utilization, Project Progression, Performance and Budget (estimate vs. actual), etcRequired Skills:
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience required in a Technology Services role involved in the delivery of technology services (network services preferred)
    • Demand Management as a Technology Services Provider
    • Supporting Demand Analysts and Demand Labor Analysts in the areas of engagement oversight, resource assignment, budget, and labor cost expense
    • Resource allocation, utilization, and tracking practices
    • Reporting processes and routines for preparing metrics and reporting using multiple data sets and reporting tools & spreadsheets
    • Project and resource management, cost sizing, resource charge-back
    • Understanding of industry project management methodologies and practices, process, documentation, metrics, and reporting
    • Familiarity with IT Service Delivery, Change Management, Controls and Regulations in the Financial Services Industry
    • Must have strong administration, facilitation, and organization skills
    • Ability to be flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlinesDesired Skills:
      • Bachelor's degree in a relative technical field; Service Provider dealing in enterprise network infrastructure
      • Aligned Industry Certifications or technical certifications
      • Self-starter, self-directed and show initiative
      • Focused on execution, delivery, and commitment to dates
      • Ability to work in a high paced environment
