Job Description:
Business Development SpecialistTarget compensation: $50,000 -
$60,000 base + bonusCompensation commensurate with experience and
skill setWhat is the role and where can you add value?Business
Development Specialist who directly identifies and interacts with
meaningful mid-sized and large volume builders and all channel
partners to market the 2-10 HBW warranty program, resulting in
increased memberships and revenue.Prospect for new business, by
developing and qualifying leadsWorks closely with VP of Business
Development as well as RVP's to coordinate efforts, collaborate and
strategize to win builders targetedMaintains close relationships
with all relevant channel partners with an emphasis on strategic
insurance agencies, wholesalers, agents and other important
insurance relationshipsConvert leads to customer/builder
membersCollaborate with field sales, and other teams within the
company to execute on marketing campaigns.Lead management
activities include: daily and weekly follow-up, create business
strategies to increase daily call volume to meet and/or exceed your
goals.Document and track all relevant information and activity with

Responsibilities:Apply industry practices; understand the target
profile, eligibility and ineligibility requirements of potential
customers. Maintain knowledge of and demonstrate applicable
warranty and insurance knowledge, unique value proposition and
persuasive case points, statutes of repose, etc.Utilizes effective
communication methods within 2-10 HBW to provide feedback regarding
sales and service offerings that are in place, and recommends
strategies that can drive a competitive advantage for the
company.Represents company at trade association and relevant
meetings to promote the company, as needed.Observes the competitive
landscape and develops both strategic and tactical plans to
outperform the competition.Document activities, events and meetings
promptly in in order to report on the return on investment on
activities.Effectively managing the daily performance and time
management to grow assigned territory and drive daily
revenue.Utilize to regularly input and document relevant
information as well as activities in order to analyze and report on
business metrics, including but not limited to: key performance
indicators and account activity.What skills and experience should
you bring to this role?Proven successful record of accomplishment
of B2B sales experience in an Insurance, Home Building and/Real
Estate related industry is preferred along with holding an active
property and casualty insurance license. Must have well-rounded,
hands-on experience with all facets of sales, to include and exceed
duties listed in this job description. Must have outstanding
computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, and experience
with is necessary. Sales process knowledge and presentation
capabilities with the ability to convey complex features and
benefits in a simple to understand manner is advantageous. Strong
interpersonal skills for building cross-functional relationships,
excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proven
record of accomplishment of successful project management and the
ability to drive a project from concept through implementation is
