Your Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Understand and use complex drawing specifications and nomenclature.
  
• Set up and operate cnc and manual machine tools for the small lot production of precision tooling used in Schaeffler production.
  
• Inspect own work using various metrology instruments.
  
• Use pc's to generate cam data for machine set and trigonometry as required.
  
• Input production data into pc's.
  
• Interface with tool design, engineering, and production as needed.
  
• Perform maintenance on machine tools as required.
  
• Assist management in various projects as needed.
  
• Insure compliance with all safety, housekeeping, and environmental regulations.
  
• Make decisions on job order schedule with minimum of supervision.
  
• Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to the achievements of Quality objectives
  
  
  Comply with and support Schaeffler Group USA, Inc., Policies and Procedures, Plant Rules, Guidelines, and Environmental Health and
  Your Qualifications
  • 
    
  • Formal training in machine tool technology or equivalent experience exceeding five years.
