Job Description:

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ergonomics / Safety Manager - to join our industrial manufacturing company NEAR Wichita, Kansas. The Ergonomics / Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.This job will have the following responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agenciesConduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and safety violationsDevelop and implement safety training programs for employeesInvestigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and develop corrective actionsCollaborate with other departments to identify and address safety concernsConduct safety meetings and provide safety reports to managementMaintain safety records and statisticsManage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with insurance carriersProvide safety recommendations to managementRequirements/Skills:Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in safety management in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirementsStrong experience in ErgonomicsExperience in conducting safety audits and inspections in a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsIf you are a highly motivated safety professional with experience in the manufacturing industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
