G&W Equipment, Inc., distributor of Cat, Mitsubishi and Jungheinrich Lift Truck is an industry leader in Sales and Service of Material Handling Equipment and related products, covering all of North & South Carolina and Georgia. -We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. - The primary job duties include: - -

• Process invoices for payment in a timely manner; review, code and monitor open invoices and pending check requests, key invoices into ERP system, match Purchase Orders, and set-up payment to vendors.
• Reconcile invoices to accounts payable report.
• Partner with vendors regarding discrepancies, new account set up, payment schedules.
• Provide accounting assistance to operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Support month end reconciliation and reporting. -Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: -
  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience, Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Accounting ERP, strong Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills
  • ACH Banking / Cash Management experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
