Contract - $70-85/hr - Charlotte,North Carolina

Job Description Our client within the Insurance space is looking to bring on a Sr Cloud Engineer to their team. You will be joining the digital services team to ensure the documentation within the cloud platform is created and maintained. This is a fully remote and full-time opportunity with one of the nations leading insurance firms. Required Skills & Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field

+ Minimum six years in cloud architecture, engineering, or support experience

+ Experience with multiple programing or scripting languages

+ AWS or Azure Certifications

Desired Skills & Experience

+ Professional experience of working within the public cloud - Azure, AWS or GCP.

+ Programing experience with Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, or Javascript

+ IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation

+ Building and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

+ Configuration Management tools - e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef or equivalents.

+ Hands-on experience of Linux and Windows server including support and troubleshooting

What You Will Be Doing

+ Installs and maintains cloud-based applications within the Infrastructure

+ Establish container strategy and best practices using Kubernetes

+ Apply engineering concepts and principles to the design of cloud-based solutions

+ Testing software functions and monitor performance

+ Provides design and coding reviews for automation and IaC

+ Create runbooks/playbooks for operational support to maintain Cloud environments
