diploma or equivalent preferred. Mustbe State Registered or
Certified Nursing Aide/Assistant in the state for whichposition is
heldPrevious experience working with the elderly in a residential

FunctionsResident CareAssists residents with activities of daily
living, including bathing,dressing, grooming, toileting, eating,
transferring, and mobilityAssists residents to/from appointments
with lifting, turning,moving, positioning, and transporting
residents into/out of beds, chairs,bathtubs, wheelchair lifts
etcPerform restorative and rehabilitative procedures/plans
asinstructed including but not limited to ambulation with/without
self-help devices,range of motion exercises, dining, and
bowel/bladder trainingAssist in the care of the dying resident and
provide post-mortemcare as instructedEngages residents in
meaningful conversation, socialization, andactivity while providing
personal care assistanceResponds to all resident needs and/or
requests for care promptly, andprovides or obtains assistance with
care as necessaryUpholds Residents' Rights at all timesSupports and
upholds all company policies and care philosophyObserves residents
for changes in physical, emotional, mental, orbehavioral condition,

documentation such as incident reports, changeof condition reports,

in the dining room during resident mealtimesEncourages residents to

Makes resident beds, empties resident garbage and tidies
residentrooms daily and as neededCleans bedrails, over the bed
tables, nightstand, etc. asnecessary to keep the resident's room
tidy and cleanChanges resident bed linens according to Community
schedule and asneeded soiled, stained, or dirtyChanges resident
towels on daily and as needed if soiledMaintains resident clothing
and clothing closet in a clean, neat, andorderly mannerCleans
dining room tables and chairs after meals and snacksNotifies
Housekeeper of spills and soiled areas; assists with clean-upas
needed. When no Housekeeper is onduty, cleans up spills and soils
immediatelyAssists with straightening chairs, pillows, and
decorative items in commonareas as needed, and returns items to
appropriate location when found out of placeAssists in cleaning
wheelchairs, walkers, and other resident equipmentper Community
cleaning schedule and as neededMakes frequent rounds on assigned
residents to facilitatetheir needs being metAssists with admissions
and performs the inventory and markingof personal itemsAssists
residents with bowel and bladder functions, monitoringof bowel
movements, and specimen collection (i.e., urine and stool, etc.) as
instructedMonitors rooms for adequate lighting, safety hazards
asappropriateUses only the equipment trained on in a safe
mannerCleans, disinfects and returns resident care equipment to
itsdesignated storage area after useFollows established isolation
procedures Other Attends all required staff meetings and in-service
training sessions and any other form of learning to achieve
