Job Description:

*Title: Human Resources Coordinator*

The Human Resources Coordinator oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes with strong recruiting experience. The HR Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management. The job of the HR Coordinator is important to business success as our employees are our most important asset. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for providing administrative support to employees, documenting grievances, terminations, absences, performance reports, and compensation and benefits information, assisting with recruiting candidates, and providing assistance with payroll processing functions.

*Essential Responsibilities*

--- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

--- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.

--- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, interviewing, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.

--- Assist with performance management policies and procedures.

--- Coordinate and facilitate HR-related trainings for employees.

--- Perform new employee and annual orientations and trainings, maintain records of all staff.

--- Maintain compliance on HR policies and procedures.

--- Assist with payroll and PTO tracking.

--- Support other assigned functions as needed. Assist with facility inventory, desk equipment for all employees, ensure safe working environment.

--- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

*Education/Training Experience*

* Bachelors degree in human resources or related.
* At least 2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator.
* Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
* Effective HR administration and people management skills.
* Exposure to payroll practices.
* Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
* Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail.

*Physical Requirements/Work Environment*

* Works in an office or client care environment that may include offsite locations. Standing and walking are involved. May come in contact with combative and/or violent behavior.

*Certification/Licensure*

* BA Degree
* HR-related certification and training
* SHRM certification
* Required to maintain CPR Certification.

*Job Relationships*

* Reports to: Chief Administrative Assistant
* Employees Supervised: None
* Interrelationships: Direct contact with Department Management/Supervisors

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
