Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition team is committed to attracting top talent to Livent to meet our current and future business needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will set the tone for creating an engaging candidate experience through their naturally customer-centric, interpersonal savviness that will establish Livent as a distinguished employer of choice. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide talent sourcing and full-life cycle recruiting support for Livent roles in North America, as well as serve as a subject-matter expert to support the organization's global hiring needs. This position will also play a key role in supporting the organization's overall talent acquisition DE priorities by partnering with the DE committee and hiring managers to implement various sourcing, recruiting and retention strategies. Candidate must be able to commute to either our Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support all aspects of full life-cycle recruiting for all Livent roles in North America including both corporate and manufacturing jobs. Partner with hiring managers to conduct informative intake sessions to assess current staffing needs, review and/or modify position responsibilities and requirements, and establish expectations for initiating job searches. Support the Talent Acquisition team with establishing recruitment strategies that reflect the organization's current and predicted hiring goals, particularly as they relate to carrying out Livent's DE strategy. Creatively source passive and active candidates for open positions through a variety of resources including online talent databases/communities, social media resources, career fairs, colleges and universities (with an emphasis on STEM/engineering programs), and professional/industry networking efforts.Leverage LinkedIn, Glassdoor and other social media talent-community databases to source for niche skill sets on hard-to-fill positions within critical functional areas, reducing the organization's overall annual external recruiting fee spend.Develop familiarity with and a network of internal and external talent for current and future hiring needs across various functional disciplines (with an emphasis on developing engineering pipelines). Develop and maintain a social media/professional brand presence to attract passive candidates to Livent and leverage such platforms to increase visibility to critical roles across the organization.Create an overwhelmingly positive candidate experience for internal and external candidates through professional, courteous and timely communication methods, engaging interviews, efficient follow through, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and executive presence throughout such candidates' experience. Interpret and leverage HR analytics to predict future recruiting needs and make recommendations for enhanced recruiting strategies supporting the organization's overall hiring and retention goals. Apply behavior-based and other proven interview techniques to assess for knowledge, skill set and overall prospective employee engagement. Ensure that all requisitions and candidate files are maintained in accordance with Livent's compliance standards.Facilitate all pre-employment checks including, but not limited to, professional references and background checks. Provide weekly progress reports and critical updates on assigned open requisitions to the Talent Acquisition Manager and seek counsel on complicated recruiting needs, as required.Regularly attend and actively participate in bi-weekly corporate human resources team meetings.Follow established organizational protocols for recruitment, hiring and offer approvals.Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity recruiting guidelines.Attend talent industry conferences to remain versed on current recruiting trends, challenges, technology platforms, and use such education to assist with furthering the organization's overall talent acquisition strategy. Develop a network of industry contacts to share talent, market intelligence and best practice recruiting methodology. Other duties as assigned from time to time to carry out the organization's talent acquisition goals. Supervisory Responsibility: N/AEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related discipline preferred.3 - 5 years of talent acquisition and sourcing experience required.Prior experience recruiting within the manufacturing industry preferred (experience recruiting within the chemical manufacturing industry is a plus, including experience recruiting engineers at all talent levels).HR certification (received or in process) a plus. Knowledge and Skill RequirementsSolid experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams).Experience using applicant tracking/HRIS systems (experience with ADP a plus). Experience with RPO, talent-based and employee engagement integrative platforms a plus. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
