BestCo specializes in manufacturing solid dose lozenges, soft chews, and other confectionery-based delivery forms of consumer healthcare products for both private label and contract manufacturing partners. BestCo combines nearly a century's worth of confectionery experience with emerging consumer healthcare insights to create unique products for our customers. BestCo strives to be a pioneer and innovator in the field of confectionery delivery forms of OTC drugs and dietary supplements.BestCo is currently searching for a Account Specialistto be located in Mooresville, North Carolina.Position Summary: The Contract Manufacturing Account Specialist will be responsible for various activities in regards to the customer satisfaction and fulfillment process with our contract customers. This person will be a liaison between BestCo and our customers, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging issues that our customers may encounter. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. This position will also identify growth opportunities within our existing customer base and work closely with Account Manager(s) to secure new business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain short and long-range forecasts.Analyze forecast variance drivers.Manage the Order Remittance process, order receipt, order management, order tracking, backlog tracking.Main contact for Supply Chain and Customer Service needs for our Branded Customers.Facilitate Product Supply and Demand sessions for each customer.Responsible for generating and tracking metrics pertaining to Customer Scorecard Reviews.Participate in demand and supply reviews as part of the SIOP process.Involved in end-to-end activities for assigned accounts.Schedule, plan, and facilitate quarterly face-to-face meetings with customers. These meetings will extend beyond the supply chain teams to maximize growth opportunities with existing customer base.Lead proactive customer service and growth processes including competitive offsets, insight into promotions, and competitive offerings.Performs other duties as required.Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports.Knowledge and Skill Requirements Strong interpersonal and presentation skills requiredAbility to work as part of a team environment and independently, as neededProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required, specifically intermediate level Excel skills (charts, graphs, pivot tables...)Detail-orientedAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal staff, management, and customers.Must be able to multi-task.Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing practices (cGMP) preferred.Strong analytical and math skills with data analysis experience preferred.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business and a minimum of two years of experience in customer service, account management, or data analytics orBachelor's degree in a field other than business and a minimum of five years of experience in customer service, account management, or data analytics orAssociate's degree and a minimum of eight years of experience in customer service, account management, or data analytics.A minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience.Strong analytical and math skillsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience working in the consumer-packaged goods industryKnowledge of Current Good Manufacturing practices (cGMP)SAP or similar ERP system experienceData analysis experience"NO OUTSIDE RECRUITING AGENCIES"All offers of employment are conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification (E-verify).BestCo is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerMinority/Female/Disability/VeteranEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
