Account Manager, Distributor Partnerships

This position is an integral part of or partnership with our largest external distributor in North America. In this role we are looking for a subject matter expert to partner with our distributors sales representatives on training, sales and maintaining key relationships with that organization.

Your day to day

  • Provide subject matter expertise for fragrance recommendations
    • Attend client meetings with distributor representatives
    • Meet with external sales representatives individually, review and provide recommendation support prior to a meeting
    • Train new distributor reps on scent marketing, ScentAir products, ScentAir fragrances, and how to speck a space.
    • Ongoing skill development sessions with key account team members
    • Manage any issue resolution needed
    • Submit new orders to be processed
    • Responsible for measuring client satisfaction
      • Follow up with external reps on post sale client satisfaction
      • Gather and measure qualitative data
      • Proactively manage key senior stakeholder relationships within key account
        • Quarterly business reviews
        • Regular touch points on progress, identify areas of opportunity, gain insight on new hires, gain insight on any distributor updates
        • Review metrics of performance
        • Gather and review metrics of performance with key ScentAir stakeholders
          • Identify areas of strength and areas of opportunity
          • Support pilot process and testing of impact
            • Larger clients may travel to be on site
            • Work with external representative on success criteria metrics and how to effectively capture
            • Help support coordination of set up of systems
            • Help support fragrance recommendations
            • Responsible for building business plan on increasing market share
              What We Are Looking For
              • Bachelors degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent work experience.
              • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
              • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
