Job Description:We are looking for a dynamic, strategic leader to join the Retail Strategy Analytics team to support the fraud and claims organization, which includes operations, fraud prevention and detection, claims and losses across all consumer and small business products and channels. - This team lead will provide ad hoc analytics and consulting to the Fraud and Claims (FCSO) team, producing key measurements used to assess trends, regulatory adherence, assessment of claim and detection operations, and the effectiveness of fraud strategies and tactics. - -This includes translating business priorities into analytical projects and leveraging data to challenge the status quo and find new approaches to improve efficiencies, champion new ideas, and refine how we do business. The team lead also has the key ownership role for the Line of Business relationship, driving the discussion of how analytics can drive actionable insights aligned to the business priorities. - This position will lead the dialogue with the line of business, including senior leaders, providing influence on topics such as effective use of resources, work prioritization, fraud risk vs. client impact, loss and revenue implications, emerging risks, and operating strategies to ensure company goals are met. The team leader will navigate the organization to help analysts source, link and compile data appropriately, bringing in the applicable experts in order to deliver valuable insight. - They will assist analysts in creating presentations that demonstrate conclusions, implications and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. This role includes the support of regulatory related requests, which involves the execution of ongoing meetings, organizing appropriate regulatory responses, and maintaining quality records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle to reduce our risk exposure. Key success factors include:

    • Assess incoming fraud and claims requests and determine best approach to delivering, develop prioritization routine with the line of business to insure best use of resources against most critical deliverables
    • Provide subject matter expertise on the 100+ upstream systems of record that are utilized in fraud and claims reporting and analysis; inform partners on available data, capabilities and limitations.
    • Lead role in audit and control issues, partnering with AMI's business control team to assess needs, suggest approaches, develop work plans
    • Utilize data from heterogeneous sources (structured and unstructured) with various levels of data quality to construct meaningful analysis and insights to business questions. -Common data platforms include Hadoop, Teradata, and SQL Server.
    • Build a network outside immediate team, across organizational boundaries, to identify synergies across groups, drive partnership and collaboration, reduce redundancy of work, and have a cross functional impact. -
    • Provide fraud and claims partners with actionable insights to track and analyze losses, improve prevention and detection, manage workflow, insure adherence to control standards. -
    • Partner with technology and Reporting COE teams to develop repeatable solutions to support most commonly requested metrics
    • Translate business questions into analytics projects with clear objectives, create and maintain work tracking documentation
    • Present insights, implications and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and analytics leaders Required Experience:
      • Minimum of Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience with strong quantitative background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
      • 8+ years of analytics experience in support of reporting and/or analysis for operational processes
      • 8+ years of hands-on analytics experience with ability to use SAS, SQL, R and/or PYTHON to find and deliver data from various databases and platforms
      • Knowledge of fraud and claims
      • Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured analytical challenges
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to summarize and interpret large amounts of data and translate into meaningful insight
      • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach others
