Great 12+ months Contract opportunity for an Oracle MDM Architect with our Direct Client in Dalla, TX - Long term opportunity 2-3 years.Job Title: MDM Data Architect (100% Remote)Pay is $80/hr to $115/hr - Will work remoteThis is a hands-on type of role for a very senior level candidate with large enterprise and global experience.** This person will build it and own it**Need to understand the concept of: Build it....Ship it....Sold itMDM Data ArchitectResponsible for architecting, designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Enterprise Master Data across multiple domains (e.g. Customer, Contact, Product, Location, Supplier, Inventory) with integration between source systems and external systems as needed. Primary focus will be the Customer and Contact model, as it is matured. Role will require the person to own and operate a complete model that will be leveraged across the entire organization and globe, with many outbound systems requiring this data. This is a very hands-on role with some functional role as they interact with the stakeholders. This person will be involved in every aspect of architecting, designing, building and implementing the system utilizing a cross-functional team.Responsibilities

  • Assess current state and define/design the MDM solution architecture for all master data including; Customer, Contacts, Product and Location with their respective hierarchies
  • Define Data Governance model with business processes, data owners, data stewards, and data custodians to ensure rules, policies and data quality are managed.
  • Define data mapping and transform rules to load historical data from the legacy systems into the to be MDM models.
  • Define/design integration between MDM and external systems such as Salesforce
  • Lead the MDM application and technical architecture analysis, design and implementation to ensure that the product fulfils the requirements
  • Develop accurate, complete, comprehensible and useable documentation of products and services
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system functional and technical errors. Troubleshoot systems and data, and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures
  • Report, track, and resolve MDM related issues by leveraging relevant vendor resources
  • Apply tools to analyze products to improve performance, responsiveness, and end-user productivity
  • Collaborate with team members and demonstrate the willingness to lend support and help
  • Interpret and apply complex technical instructions and specifications
  • Organize work, set priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Regularly demonstrate empathy and a positive attitude in performing work and in working with others
  • Share knowledge, insights and work among team members and partners
  • Work directly with vendor resources to achieve project goals and provide ongoing support of the system
  • Preparation of technical project documentationSkills/Experience:
    • 10+ years or more total software development, architecture, and solution design experience related to Master Data Management that includes synchronization of data between environments
    • 10+ years of hands on experience in MDM products, such as, but not limited to Informatica, Oracle CDM, Oracle PDH, Semarchy or Profisee or others.
    • 6+ years as an MDM Architect including expertise with MDM data models, matching rules, trust frameworks, complex hierarchy relationship management and data governance
    • Strong business process experience and acumen
    • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and analytical skills is required.
    • A process-oriented individual, with strong project management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
    • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business models.
    • The ability to develop creative and breakthrough solutions.
    • Experienced in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
    • BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
