Qualifications

University degree with excellent academic record; advanced degree preferred

7 years of professional experience with demonstrable record of impact

5 years in enterprise or third-party risk management in a professional services firm or a
corporate, ideally global, firm

In-depth knowledge of applied due diligence to all procurement phases from requirements
gathering to supplier relationship management and service exit preferably in indirect
procurement

Strong professional computing skills including Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel,
PowerPoint, Visio)

Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and ideas, and to apply those concepts across
multiple content areas

Experience in deploying technology solutions, creating new processes and driving change
across organizations to adhere/adopt those processes

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams covering various organizational
levels

Comfortable with ambiguity in a work-setting, knowing how to address and manage
unpredictable outcomes

Ability to present to a global audience on a regular basis; ability to build and maintain
highly effective and collaborative relationships

Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in one of our North America office as part of McKinsey Optimize, the function
that delivers distinctive, positive and productive experiences through various services ranging
from travel, events, real estate, sourcing, technology and purchasing. McKinsey's global
supplier risk program aims to hold its suppliers to the same high standards of values and
social responsibility that McKinsey holds itself.

You will work closely with a cross-functional transformation team led by the director of
contracts & supplier risk, to manage a global supplier risk program, policy and technology.---You
will partner closely with the senior manager, supplier risk strategy and also independently
lead various workstreams to help shape and manage processes to deliver an efficient and
effective end-to-end supplier risk program and user experience.

You will establish strong partnerships and collaborate regularly with global teams including
finance, global social responsibility, compliance, data privacy/security, sourcing, legal and
other firm functions to provide risk guidance, creatively problem-solve complex situations and
build a best-in-class risk management program.

What You'll Do

You will serve as a lead liaison of the supplier risk program with regional leadership during the
initial global rollout and future enhancements.

You will synthesize and prioritize feedback, identify opportunities and translate these into
practical, realistic actions with measurable outcomes to promote continuous improvement of
program/technology. You will work with and influence the supplier operations team to ensure
effective risk management, timely risk escalations and training.---You will be responsible for
performing risk reviews to ensure that risk is being appropriately analyzed, raising issues and
escalations to the related stakeholders with recommendations for resolution.---To further build the
firm's capabilities, you will play a leading role in developing the skills of the supplier
operations team by providing mentorship and oversight of their work ensuring we continually
improve our risk assessment capabilities and provide value.

You will analyze supplier data to the determine efficacy and adoption of the supplier risk
management program. You will develop and maintain program reporting to ensure the necessary
transparency and control including key performance/risk indicator (KPIs/KRIs) reporting and
dashboard updates.

You will stay ahead of risk issues and drive special projects that address emerging risks, market
developments and/or internal customer needs. You will manage a broad range of interesting
projects on a global level (e.g. framework for preferred supplier program) and have influence
beyond the day-to-day scope of your role.
