JOB DESCRIPTION

As a UX Designer at PatientPoint, you'll create products designed to have a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers. You'll work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Content teams, and play a pivotal role in defining PatientPoint's overall product experience and our design strategy, methodology, and process. We'll rely on your vision, thinking, curiosity, and talent to create exceptional web-based applications and interactive experiences that people love to use.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a leading role in defining PatientPoint's overall design strategy and methodology
  • Establish a universal design system to be used across all products
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to formalize a design process
  • Determine user goals and define the product interactions necessary to achieve them
  • Generate designs and the necessary artifacts to communicate specifications and reasoning
  • Create prototypes and test design and product concepts
  • Iterate on your ideas and designs based on user input, iterative research and team feedback
  • Present work to internal stakeholders and project teams
  • Ensure designs are implemented according to design specifications
  • Analyze user behaviors to identify opportunities to improve the product experience


QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years of experience in product design, interaction design, visual design, or related disciplines
  • Excellent knowledge of the product life cycle, product design, and UX principles
  • Comfortable using a variety of design research methods and processes
  • Proficiency using design tools such as Invision, Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc
  • Experience designing web-based applications and interactive experiences
  • Experience creating and/or contributing to design systems
  • Experience working in an agile environment
