If so, this may be the position for you!Brooksource is seeking a Communications Specialist--for our leading "digital-first" Healthcare client in the NC/SC area to support their internal IT communications team. This resource helps implement internal communications tactics; writes newsletters, memos and updates communication channels and provides tactical communication support for large initiatives. This Communications Specialist must keep abreast of regulatory and governing standards as well as corporate policies and procedures, and corporate and regional planning and development.Essential Functions:-- Strategic Thinking:--Has the ability to develop a broad, big-picture view of the organization and its mission.o Understands competitive advantage and threats, industry trends, emerging technology, market opportunities, stakeholder focus and how these all come together.o Ability to keep team members and teams focused on the overall goal and includes long-range visions and concepts to daily work.-- Communication:--Must have excellent writing, communications planning, issues and project management skills, sound judgment, creativity, and be results-oriented.o Strong technical writing experience preferred. o Must have the ability to manage projects against deadlines, translate complex concepts into comprehensible language for targeted audiences with demonstrated experience in navigating traditional and digital communications channels.o Must work effectively across a large, complex organization.Top Qualifications:-- Required: Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Organizational Communication, Organizational Development-- Experience: Three or more years of experience in Journalism/organizational communications-- Additional Skills:o Knowledge of internal communications strategies and tactics.o Team player with ability to juggle many deadlines and projects.o Excellent writer.o Self-starter.o Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher.o Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Must have ability to effectively communicate with internal/external staff, patients and community.
