provide global leadership and oversight to theHSE&F function,
activities and performance for the Business Center,establishing
strong working relationships with business and SPS leaders andplant
locations. You will report directly to the Chief ISC Officer, HON
SPS.You will be a key leader with the SPS directing sustainable
health and safetyprograms across SPS through incorporation of
impactful operating processes andkeeping in front of leading
practices in health and safety standards.
Ensure compliance requirements are met and deliver
cost-effective risk reduction solutions that are prioritized to
address risks across the business portfolio.
Drive HSE&F strategy development in partnership with
business leadership to drive proactive HSE&F culture,
compliance and risk reduction.
Lead and drive a culture change in the organization to an
employee engagement-based safety culture within the
Critical partner in developing business strategic planning
(STRAP), strategy deployment (SDP) and annual operating plans
Responsible for establishing and driving the HSE management
system (HSEMS) across the SPS business.
Responsible for establishing and driving the Facilities
management system (FMS) across the SPS business
Responsible for driving the HSE management operating system
(MOS) across the SPS business
Ensure critical compliance issues are identified and
Ensure all manufacturing sites, office facilities, field service
and business activities are compliant with applicable external HSE
regulations and internal Honeywell HSE requirements.
Responsible for training, developing and growing HSE&F
talent and capability across the entire function. Ensure HSE talent
development for the short and long term.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree. Preference in engineering, manufacturing,
safety,environmental science, facilities, or related field.
Minimum 15+ years progressive experience in Health, Safety and
Minimum 10 years in positions of progressive leadership
including peoplemanagement required.
HSE or Engineering degree (advanced degree preferred)
15+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or relevant manufacturing
Understands the benefit of a rigorous management operating
Ability to advocate for the right level of tension between HSE,
ISC, andBusiness to drive the right decisions and visibility to
Extensive experience in leading and managing HS&E
compliance, strategydevelopment, risk analysis, compliance
assessment, and auditing in a globalmanufacturing environment
Ability to create a clear and compelling business case for
Possesses excellent executive communication skills with the
courage to standalone/have an independent point of view, even if
Ability to make the complex simple, identify where problems are
occurring anddeploy a robust root cause to improve processes;
experience driving continuousimprovement
Proven track-record managing large, complex organizations or
Demonstrated success driving significant organization change
which includesdriving role clarity and accountability with high
Influencing skills and integrative thinking with a demonstrated
ability towork with and through others
Excellent listening, influencing and persuasion skills
Strong working knowledge of U.S. and relevant international
HS&E laws,permitting requirements and regulations
