Job Description:
Desired skills: • Must be detail oriented with strong
organizational skills. • Ability to work independently at times but
also communicate with Internal and External Customers as well as
other Department and Plant personnel daily. • Must have good oral
and written communication skills. • Must have problem
identification and solving skills. • Competent computer skills,
such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook, and ERP System
software applications. • Must be available to work OT and Saturday
occasionally, especially during Physical Inventory, Month End and
as the needs of the business dictate. • Bi-lingual a plus. •
International shipping a plus. • Experience with DOT and shipping
Hazardous Materials a plus. Position Responsibilities: • Assist in
the creation, modification, and closing of pick tickets. • Utilize
Shipping Solutions software. • Oversee International shipments to
meet DOT, HAZMAT, and all regulatory requirements. • Process daily
departmental reports as needed. • Review inventory and perform
cycle counts as needed. • Review processes / written procedures for
continuous improvement. • Audit freight invoices and approve for
payment. • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by
Supervisor or Logistics Manager. Monday through Friday
