Job Description:
We are a family & elder law firm with 14 locations across North
and South Carolina. We are currently looking for a hardworking,
detail-oriented Attorney to assist in handling the Union and
Mecklenburg County area for estates, trusts, wills, and elder law
cases.--This is a rapidly growing practice area within our Firm,
and we are seeking a professional who wants to contribute to this
growth over time.--Candidates will be mentored by a senior
Certified Elder Law Attorney with many years of experience and
collaborate with a team of other elder law attorneys and paralegals
across the Firm.

Responsibilities:
--- Convene meetings with potential clients and explain the
services offered by the firm, as well as advise them on the most
pertinent legal course of action.
--- Compose documents, survey statutes and laws, and arrange
conferences with clients to agree on their planned future.
--- Attend to customer needs in order to make them feel like they
are a high priority for the firm. Regularly communicate with all
customers and cooperate with the Client Experience team to deliver
the highest level of service.
--- Offer innovative solutions to customers' legal issues by
analyzing their circumstances, comprehending their needs, and
preparing a fitting strategic plan.
--- Accurately and promptly track time spent on both payments based
on an hourly rate and flat fee matters.
--- Travel to different offices in Union and Mecklenburg County
area if and when required.
--- Work constructively with other attorneys to further refine your
practice.
Qualifications:
--- Preferably, applicants should possess a minimum of 5-7 years
working in the field of elder law, showing a professional level of
expertise to conduct independent tasks and obtain new
customers.
--- Possession of licenses in both South Carolina and North
Carolina is preferred, yet North Carolina license is required. CELA
certification is an added advantage.
--- Applicants must be great team players, and understand their
accountability to fellow coworkers and clients alike.
--- Attention to detail and willingness to go beyond the extra mile
is paramount. At our law firm, client satisfaction is of utmost
importance, and thus our staff must be dedicated to excellence.
--- The ability to communicate politely, professionally, and with
sensitivity is a must.
--- Experience in the areas of estate planning, trust/estate
administration, Medicaid planning, and long-term care benefits is
beneficial. Litigation experience is desirable when handling
guardianship and estate litigation cases.
--- The job necessitates the capacity to effectively track and bill
time accordingly.
--- We're seeking an individual with an independent work ethic who
will take initiative to complete tasks.
--- Negotiation and communication skills are essential
