The AssistantGeneral Counsel will share in supporting all global litigation and functionalinitiatives for the Company.This position is in the Litigation Center ofExcellence (COE), located in Honeywell's headquarters in Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities:

• Working with business leaders and corporate staff to articulate risks and benefits of legal strategy
• Developing strategies for, managing, and resolving a wide variety of investigations, litigation and pre-litigation disputes, including commercial, regulatory, product liability, toxic tort/asbestos, intellectual property, and insurance-coverage matters
• Providing strategic litigation advice to the business
• Supporting M&A due diligence related to litigation matters
• Helping lines of business develop and implement processes, procedures, and systems to promote risk avoidance and prevent litigation
• Supervising and budgeting outside litigation counsel
• Coordinating with outside counsel to assure they support Honeywell's principles of diversity and inclusion in the representation of clients
• Working with Honeywell's insurers to manage insured claims
• Coordinating reserve analyses and legal disclosures with the Finance functionYOUMUST HAVE:
  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • 10+ years of litigation experience at a major law firm or within a large corporate legal department
  • Admitted to practice before a State BarWEVALUE:
    • Outstanding judgment and communication skills
    • Demonstrated litigation experience and success, including strong litigation management skills
    • Desire to continue hands-on litigation management in a corporate setting
    • Strong business acumen to help business balance risk and reward(s)
    • Collaborative demeanor to drive quick resolution of issues with multiple stakeholders
    • Excellent management and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to influence at varying levels of the organization
    • Ability to deliver in complex situations
    • Work independently to drive key initiativesAdditional Information
